Privacy Policy

The short version: The Perspexa app collects no personal information and keeps everything you make on your own device. The only personal information we ever receive is the name and email you choose to give us if you sign up for the Perspexa beta — and we use that solely to contact you about the beta. We never sell your data.
Who we are
JoyfulWindow is a small independent studio. This policy covers the Perspexa iOS app and the joyfulwindow.com website. If you have any questions, email us at admin@getperspexa.com.
The Perspexa app
Perspexa is built to work entirely on your device. Specifically:
- Perspexa does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information about you.
- Everything you create in the app — your checklists, tasks, window creations, scenes, drawings, decorations, and any photos you add — is stored locally on your device.
- None of that content is sent to us or to any external server. We can't see it, because it never leaves your device.
- Perspexa contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
If you delete the app, the data it stored on your device is removed with it.
The JoyfulWindow website
The website is a simple informational site. We don't use our own tracking cookies or analytics. The one place we collect information is the Perspexa beta signup form:
- What we collect: the name and email address you enter, and only when you choose to submit the form.
- How we use it: to send you a beta (TestFlight) invitation, occasional product updates, and requests for feedback about Perspexa.
- Where it's stored: with Resend, the email service we use to manage our list and send messages.
- We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it except as needed to operate the service providers above.
- You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing admin@getperspexa.com.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability. The page also loads fonts from Google Fonts and embeds a subscribe form from Substack; those services handle requests under their own privacy policies.
A note on future AI features
We may, at some point, add AI-powered capabilities to Perspexa. If and when we do, the way your data is handled could change — for example, content you choose to send to an AI feature might be processed by an external service to generate a response. Before we release any such feature, we will update this Privacy Policy to clearly explain what data is involved, where it goes, and how it's used. We'll never quietly start sending your data somewhere new.
Children's privacy
Perspexa and this site are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
Because Perspexa stores your content only on your device, you're always in control of it. For the beta list, you can unsubscribe at any time, and you may request that we delete your name and email from our records by emailing admin@getperspexa.com.
Changes to this policy
If we make changes, we'll post the updated policy here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes — like the introduction of AI features described above — will be reflected here before they take effect.
